Presentations on grievance mechanisms and vulnerability in Business and Human Rights during a Viadrina workshop on global supply chains in May 2025

Presentations on grievance mechanisms and vulnerability in Business and Human Rights during a Viadrina workshop on global supply chains.

In May 2025, the team of Professor Dr. Eva Kocher organised a workshop titled Global Supply Chain and Modern Slavery Governance – Narratives, Regulatory Practices, and Accountability at Viadrina University, with special guest Professor Dr. Judy Fudge. Mareike Standow presented two contributions, one regarding the implementation of the grievance mechanism of the Dindigul Agreement, and one regarding the terminology of vulnerability in the context of Business and Human Rights.

The workshop was a great platform for exchange and learning with other scholars working on the topic of global supply chains and human rights.
