Chair Holder
Prof. Dr Dr h.c. Ulla Gläßer, LL.M. (UC Berkeley) holds the Professorship for Mediation and Conflict Management. She is also academic director of the Viadrina-based Master's degree programme in Mediation and Conflict Management as well as co-director of the Institute for Conflict Management.
Her research and publications focus on conflict management in business, extrajudicial grievance mechanisms in the field of business-human rights-environment, court-connected mediation as well as methodology, legal framework and quality assurance of mediation and other extrajudicial conflict management procedures. She is co-editor of a commentary on the Mediation Act (Nomos Verlag), several relevant publication series and a member of the editorial board of the Journal for Conflict Management (ZKM).
