Luca Luipold is a doctoral candidate under Prof. Dr. Jan-Erik Schirmer and has been a research assistant at the chair since June 2024. Her research focuses on the intersection of sustainability and capital market law, examining how law can serve as a key to socio-ecological transformation.
Ms. Luipold studied law at Humboldt University in Berlin (2017-2023). There, she completed her major in corporate and commercial law in 2020 and earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in the same year. Ms. Luipold also spent two semesters abroad at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2020-2021).
After completing her first state examination, Ms. Luipold initially worked as a research assistant at the international law firm Morrison & Foerster and then moved to Professor Schirmer's chair as part of her doctoral studies.
