The Chair of Public Polish Law works closely together with the South-East Asian Center for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPG).

The CPG is a allianceinstitute of the Thammasat University Bangkok,Goethe-University Frankfurt a.M., University Münster and the University Passau. The institute was founded by the German Department of Foreign Affairs in 2010 as one of only four excellence centers worldwide. The center is promoted by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation) and the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (German Academic Exchange Service). The institute is located at the Thammasat University Bangkok.

The research and work emphasis is the public law and the function of public law for a responsible government. The interdisciplinary and open approch of the CPG is based upon the collaboration of the law faculties at the involved universities. The center strive for a knowledge and concept dialogue between Europe and the Southeast Asia. The CPG focuses on states in Southeast Asia.

The Centers activities include research, teaching, consultancy of politics and governments and the advanced training of professionals. Furthermore the European-Asian Journal of Law and Governance (EAJLG) is published by the CPG and provides further services for scientists and students.

Currently more than 40 scientists of the cooperative universities are actively involved in the work of the CPG. In addition to that the CPG is cooperating with many universities, private and public institutions, in the field of public law, good governance and politics.
