Clemens Wirbel was the 14th doctoral student of Prof. Dr. Ines Härtel to receive his doctorate in law on 18 September 2020 at the Faculty of Law of the European University Viadrina.

The examination board consisted of Prof. Dr. Kocher, Prof. Dr. Haack and Prof. Dr. Härtel. The dissertation bears the title:

"Strategies to combat food waste in the light of well-ordered law".

Jan Ackermann was the 13th doctoral student of Prof. Dr. Ines Härtel to receive his doctorate in law on 11 March 2020 at the Faculty of Law of the European University Viadrina.

The examination board consisted of Prof. Dr. Brömmelmeyer, Prof. Dr. Lübbig and Prof. Dr. Härtel. The dissertation bears the title:

"Well-ordered agricultural competition law with regard to producer organisations and unfair trade practices".

Hanna Hollwitz was the 12th doctoral student of Prof. Dr. Ines Härtel to receive his doctorate in law on 15 January 2020 at the Faculty of Law of the European University Viadrina.

The examination board consisted of Prof. Dr. Knöfel, Prof. Dr. von Brünneck und Prof. Dr. Härtel. The dissertation bears the title:

"A well-ordered agricultural structure improvement law in federal Germany: New perspectives for agricultural property transfer law".

Klaus-Christian Fritzsche was the 11th doctoral student of Prof. Dr. Ines Härtel to receive his doctorate in law on 26 June 2019 at the Faculty of Law of the European University Viadrina.

The examination board consisted of Prof. Dr. Becker, Prof. Dr. Nowak and Prof. Dr. Härtel. The dissertation, which was awarded summa cum laude, bears the title:

"Innovative Food in European Administrative Procedure Law - The Approval of Novel Food as a Risk Decision".

The Chair warmly congratulates Mr. Fritzsche on his successful degree.
